What is DTDect

DTDect is a stand-alone C program which detects DTMF tones in audio clips. It supports two sound file formats: 1) ascii text two column (time, signal) format and 2) binary 16 bit mono signed. All sample rates are supported, but samples of >=8000Hz are recommended.

Features

DTDect calibrates itself to frequency in order to compensate for the subtle shifts and discrepancies in the input sample rate which are introduced by the sampling and recording process. It also callibrates itself to signal strength. It will correctly detect most DTMF signals as long as the audio samples are somewhat clean and contain a significant portion of DTMF tones.
